Who Should Use Form 6?
You should use Form 6 if:

Visit the Voters' Services Portal
Open the official Election Commission portal and click New Voter Registration (Form 6). Register a new account, or sign in using your mobile number, email ID or EPIC number.

Fill Form 6
Enter your full name, date of birth, gender, residential address, mobile number, email (optional) and details of parents or spouse where required. Ensure all information is accurate.

Upload Supporting Documents
Upload scanned copies of the requested documents — typically a proof of age and a proof of residence. The portal indicates exactly what your application needs.

Review and Submit
Verify your name, address and date of birth, confirm uploaded documents are clear, then submit. An acknowledgement/reference number is generated — save it to track later.

Verification by Booth Level Officer (BLO)
A BLO may visit your residence to verify your address and identity. You may be asked to produce original documents — please cooperate during verification.

Track Your Application
Check the status online using your acknowledgement number through the Voters' Services Portal, which also shows updates on processing.

Check Your Name in the Electoral Roll
Once approved, search for your name in the Electoral Roll, note your EPIC (Voter ID) number, download your e-EPIC if available, and verify all details are correct.
