Latest update — June 2026 biennial election

• The 2026 Rajya Sabha election in Andhra Pradesh was a formality. With the NDA alliance holding an overwhelming majority in the 175-member Assembly, all four nominees were elected unopposed.
• The terms of four members ended on 21 June 2026 — Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Parimal Nathwani (all YSRCP), along with Sana Sathish Babu (TDP).
• Of the four new entrants (term: 22 June 2026 – 21 June 2032), the TDP took three seats — Sana Sathish Babu was re-elected and joined by Bhashyam Ramakrishna and Chintakayala Vijay — while the Jana Sena Party opened its presence in the Upper House through Lingamaneni Ramesh.
• With this, all four seats previously held by outgoing incumbents are now controlled by the ruling NDA alliance.
